About

About

Our lake is situated right in the heart of cottage country, where you can find peace, tranquility and bliss. A small, calm lake, you’ll love to enjoy a coffee on the dock in the morning, and a beer in the afternoon!

Located 10 minutes from the town of Rosseau, Sucker Lake is a beautiful lake in the district of Parry Sound. The lake has a mix of granite and beach shorelines, and is full of coniferous and deciduous flora, along with a wide variety of wildlife – both in water and on land.

Beautiful views are seen all year round, especially in the fall when the leaves change colours! Make sure to enjoy those summer nights with a campfire, s’mores and stargazing, and if you come up in winter, try your hand at snowshoeing and ice-fishing!

Centrally located, many of the local towns (Rosseau, Port Carling and Huntsville) are a short drive away where you can get everything you need!

But the best part of the lake is the people. Everyone is friendly, and we are in no short supply of dockside conversations when kayaking around. But you’ll have to see that for yourself, so pack the car and start driving!
